Many have had to drop out of school because of discrimination, or because they are undergoing treatment. Others are unable to attend school because their parents cannot afford their uniform and books.
The Leprosy Mission in India offers a range of government-recognised vocational courses. These courses provide leprosy-affected students with hands-on instruction, which leads to a diploma or certificate. This kind gift goes towards the fees for a computer studies course for 1 year.
